Securitas UK Academy and Qualification Manager awarded Highly Commended Certificate

Fri, Jun 9, 2017 Securitas UK Academy and Qualification Manager, Mark Barber has been awarded the Highly Commended Certificate by The City and Guilds of London Institute at the annual Palace Awards ceremony

Mark Barber, Academy and Qualification Design Manager from Securitas UK was awarded a Highly Commended Certificate by The City and Guilds of London Institute at the annual Palace Awards ceremony, held at St James’s Palace on 8 June. Mark was presented his award by HRH The Princess Royal, President of the Institute.

The Highly Commended Certificate honours individuals who have achieved significant personal and professional success since completing their City & Guilds qualification.

Mark has been recognised for his exceptional contribution to vocational education and training. Starting his career as a door supervisor over 20 years ago, Mark combines his impressive knowledge and skills, with a huge amount of practical and teaching experience in management and security. He’s been involved in everything from planning and managing the protection of a Saudi Arabian royal wedding, to the design of evacuation and dignitary protection protocols involving Her Majesty the Queen
