30 April 2016
Prior to the upcoming Super League clash with Hull KR, Salford Red Devils will be running its latest round of community club festivals for local teams in the u12 to u15 age ranges. Building on the back of our successful Sky Try high school delivery programme, events taking place across the city that day will be supported via the partnership with our friends at Securitas.
The festivals which will take place on the 30th April at local community clubs Salford City Roosters and Cadishead Rhinos, will see teams from under 13’s, 14’s and 15’s compete for local bragging rights. In addition, SRDF will be hosting a Masters RL (over 35’s) tournament featuring teams from local sides, as well as representation from Hull.
Securitas have been long time supporters of the Red Devils, providing security solutions for the club, its fans and business partners. Committed to putting something back in to the local community club sponsor and security firm Securitas, are looking to broaden their involvement with the Red Devils beyond their position on the players shorts.
Foundation Director Mark Brocklehurst is delighted with the support shown by Securitas saying;
“Its brilliant having a company like Securitas on board supporting what we do in the community we’re really looking forward to what will be a great day of rugby league for all ages.”
Securitas is pleased to support grass roots sport well as the first team stating;
“We are delighted to continue supporting the Red Devils and getting involved in the local community. One of Securitas’ core values, to which we strongly believe in, is helpfulness. Helping fund and promote activities for young people and being a part of the amazing work the foundation are doing is not only exciting, but a great honour for us.” Danny Williams, North Regional Director
