Securitas in Action at UK Security Expo

23 November 2016

Displaying breadth of services, including First Response. This year’s flagship Security Expo sees a substantial presence from Securitas, which will be showcasing a number of its key services at the two-day, Government-hosted event held at London’s Olympia on 30 November – 1 December.

One of the star (and certainly the largest) attractions is their First Response vehicle, a customised, fully-equipped van of the type used by specially trained Protective Service Officers to support customers’ emergency response needs. First Response teams can respond to and manage a wide range of events such as small waste bin fires, lift failures, environmental spillages, vehicle collisions and fire alarm activations. The company’s full range of capabilities will be featured on stand No F45, including Protective Services, Securitas Trained Reception and Security front of house services (STARS), Fire Protection (emergency fire crew and mobile fire training) and Canine Services.

Technology solutions provider ATEC – with whom Securitas has partnered to provide CCTV solutions to a number of its customers – is also represented on the stand.

In addition, Securitas Protective Services Officers will be managing front of house security and checking exhibitor and visitor passes. In this area Securitas will be actively contributing to the event’s unique Immersive Demonstration of Securing Crowded Places – a multi-zone area focusing on the effective protection of crowded places from terrorist threats.
