Security Officer

Job Description

• Manage access control to ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises.
• Conduct regular internal and external patrols to identify and deter security risks.
• Monitor CCTV systems to observe and respond to any suspicious activities.
• Provide a professional and friendly front-of-house presence, assisting visitors and staff as required.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, access logs, and patrol activities.
• Collaborate with other security personnel to uphold the highest standards of safety.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with all stakeholders.
• A smart and professional appearance, reflecting the values of the organisation.
• Experience in a security role, preferably in a gatehouse or similar environment.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA Licence.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Have a five-year check able employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
• Must be within a reasonable commuting distance.
• Emergency First Aid at Work as a minimum 
• Physically fit as lengthy external perimeter patrols
• UK National as BPSS and SC will be required.
• 5 Years Security Experience.
