π¨ Position: Mobile Patrol Officer
πΈ Pay Rate: Β£12.60 per hour
π Hours: 48 hours per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday β Nights)
π Location: Newcastle (NE12 9TS)
ποΈ Start Date: ASAP / by 26th May
π Experience: 1 year of mobile patrol experience preferred
π Transport: Must drive and have access to a vehicle (Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE11 9NE)
π Requirements:

Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority), Valid SIA Licence (in hand)
π Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
π Flexibility to travel between multiple sites
β° Willingness to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays
π± Excellent verbal and written communication skills
π§Ύ Right to Work in the UK
π
5-year checkable work history
πΌ Previous mobile patrol or security experience (preferred)
π» Basic IT literacy β for reports and system use
π§ Ability to work independently and manage time well
π§ Strong situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure
Job Description
Job Opportunity
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorised activities
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents and observations, including completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
- Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises, following established protocols and procedures
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and propertyβ¨

Qualifications
π Essential Requirements & Skills β Relief Security Officer
- Valid SIA Licence
- Minimum 1 year of security experience
- Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links to get to site
- Right to Work in the UK and 5-year checkable work history
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Reliable and flexible with shift patterns (days, nights, weekends)
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
