🚨 Position: Security Officer
💸 Pay Rate: £12.41 per hour
🕒 Hours: 42 hours average per week (4 on 4 off – Night Shifts)
📍 Location: Copeland Lane, Evenwood, Bishop Auckland, DL14 9SF
🚗 Transport: punctual to site access to transport links
🔒 Requirements:
- Must hold a valid SIA Licence
- Minimum 1 year of security experience
- Good communication skills and computer literacy
- Physically fit – ability to patrol on foot
- Reliable and flexible with shift patterns
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Experience on manufacturing or distribution sites preferred
- Gatehouse duties: booking vehicles in/out, site patrols, lock/unlock procedures

Job Opportunity
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorised activities
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents and observations, including completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
- Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises, following established protocols and procedures
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property✨

Qualifications
🔒 Essential Requirements & Skills – Relief Security Officer
- Valid SIA Licence
- Minimum 1 year of security experience
- Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links
- Right to Work in the UK and 5-year checkable work history
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Reliable and flexible with shift patterns (days, nights, weekends)
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Computer literate
