    The RSA partners with senior leadership, the global security and management teams to help drive operational effectiveness, high performance, and audit readiness. The RSA is responsible for preserving an environment where people and property are safe and well-protected, utilises their professional experience to manage people with varying skillsets and personalities, and devises effective strategies to drive operational excellence and personal and professional growth for themselves and their team.

    Job Description

    Main Responsibilities

    • Ensures that the relevant activities and services are planned and delivered to the specified standards to meet contractual obligations. To achieve this, the RSA works closely together with the Securitas local branches and the certified partners, as well as with the LinkedIn RSM and the LinkedIn Global Security Team.
    • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, enhancing security awareness and promoting best working practices.
    • Oversee the management of security incidents, ensuring quick resolution of events with minimum business disruptions. Maintains composure in dealing with authorities, executives, staff, and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
    • Is fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, and works closely with the global security team, ensuring an effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained at all times.
    • Actively manages the EMEAL physical security management team, overseeing their ability to complete tasks, as well as their attitude and behavior. The RSA leads by example and holds the team accountable to do the same, embodying the Securitas core values at all times.
    • Partners with the local branches or certified partners to recruit and hire, oversees onboarding, training, and development at their sites for all members of the EMEAL physical security management team.
    • Empowers the EMEAL physical security management team to have the ability and commitment to achieve KPIs, and to resolve potential issues, through coaching, training, and effective delegation.
    • Actively encourages staff recognition and staff nominations for awards.
    • Provides quarterly business reviews with accurate and meaningful data and any other reports as requested by the GAD or RSM.
    • Works closely together with the EHS team to make sure the holistic approach to security and safety is implemented in the team.
    • Works with the RSM to identify new initiatives and contributes to the long-term strategy and goals.
    • Is required to travel internationally (site visits, team offsite events, audit support, etc.)

    Undertakes any other reasonable tasks as identified by the GAD or RSM.

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • Must have a valid SIA License.
    • Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a supervision/team management role.
    • Must have a 5-year checkable history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
    • Valid UK driving license.
    • Legal right to work in the UK.
    • Have a current passport or be able to obtain one.
    • Display excellent communication skills and a very strong customer focus.
    • Punctual and reliable.
    • Must have the ability to clearly and concisely speak, read, and write English proficiently.
    • Flexible regarding availability outside regular working hours. Although the work schedule is Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, the RSA is expected to be contactable on their phone in case of an emergency out of hours.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Needs to have well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills, and to be able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion.
    • Needs to be adaptable and responsive in the face of changes in priorities, plans and schedules.

    Desirable

    Bachelor’s degree (Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related field), or previous experience in a corporate security, military or law enforcement position (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education).

    Working knowledge and experience with various security technologies including CCTV, access control systems, incident management software, and other video surveillance software.

    IOSH Training, First Aid at Work, Fire Warden/Marshall Training.

    Security certifications, such as CPP or PSP.
