🚨The Shift Security Supervisor will manage all security personnel and oversee day-to-day operational issues on your shift. You will act as the central point of contact for service delivery, development, performance, measurement, and reporting, embodying the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. Your role is crucial to the operational success of the team and in strengthening the relationship between the client and Securitas by providing continuous operational supervision.
Mandatory screening training must be successfully completed upon start, failure to do so could result in withdrawal of contract offer. A high levels of flexibility is required in this unique working environment for global leading tech giant, with good payrate in a new building with onsite parking.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Ensure all personnel under your supervision have completed the appropriate site training and hold a valid SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements.
- Accurately roster and plan for all direct reporting officers, ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness, and absences.
- Conduct monthly check-ins with all Security Officers, proactively monitoring performance, maintaining positive employee relations, and implementing coaching, counselling, and investigations as needed.
- Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of all security personnel, taking remedial action in line with company policy and procedures.
- Actively encourage staff recognition and nominations for awards.
- Keep assignment instructions and site documentation up to date.
- Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
- Assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing best practices and using systems and tools to improve service effectiveness.
- Plan, develop, and implement staff training, including both routine duties and emergency procedures.
- Monitor faults with security-related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly.
- Be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection, and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting.
- Participate in company training to improve performance standards.
- Serve as the first point of contact on your shift for security-related queries, resolving complex issues using your experience and knowledge, and referring complaints regarding security practices to the Security Management Team.
- Assist the Site Manager with any reasonable or practical request.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Service Delivery Manager.
- Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.
- Proven experience in datacentre operations or equivalent security industry experience; or equivalent experience in forces/services. Previous supervisory experience is ideal.
- High level of professionalism and command presence, great customer service skills (white glove attitude), good English skills (verbal and writing), Reliable and great team player and ability to read, understand and follow written instruction.

Qualifications
Essential
- Current SIA licence.
- SC Clearance essential
- Full 5-year checkable work history.
- Strong communication skills.
- Competent in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to negotiate and handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion.
- Adaptable and responsive to changes in priorities, plans, and schedules.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
- The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
