As a Deputy Corporate Security Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Security Manager, covering security operations across multiple site locations in London.
There will be additional duties that require flexibility with working hours and patterns, these include: assisting with event security planning and deployments, executive protection, and supporting the ongoing training and development of front-line teams.
- £55,000 Per Annum
- Working 40 hours per week

Job Description
Responsibilities

- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement security management systems across multiple jurisdictions, engaging with various stakeholders. Provide innovative security solutions in high-pressure environments.
- Risk Management: Possess a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, particularly for a large global financial services organisation. Identify and address control deficiencies, raising risks to Group Corporate Security.
- Relationship Building: Establish and sustain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and maintain frequent contact with the Aviva Group Corporate Security Team. Provide real value to clients by proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
- Team Development: Ensure adequate training, advice, and support for team success. Conduct regular appraisals, provide feedback on progress and career development, and address underperformance.
- Compliance and Reviews: Ensure compliance with global standards for physical security of Aviva buildings, assets, and personnel. Conduct annual physical security reviews for all Aviva UK premises.
- Cost Management: Monitor and manage all Costs to maximise efficiency while maintaining service levels. Share best practices and use systems and tools to improve profitability.
- Staff Engagement: Visit all officers at least once a month, monitor performance, maintain positive employee relations, and ensure coaching and counselling as needed. Encourage staff recognition and nominations for awards.
Qualifications
Essential
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
- The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas Gore values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
- Education to GCSE standard or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
- Willingness to undertake further formal training and development.
- Basic keyboard skills and PC literacy.
- Previous management experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels.
- Teamwork and cooperative working skills.
- Ability to handle Confidential information.
