    Job Description

    Corporate Air Travel Security Manager โ€“ Preston Area

    Location: Warton, Preston
    Shifts: Monday to Friday (Day Shifts, 40 hours per week)
    Pay Rate: ยฃ17.85 per hour
    Licence Requirement: No SIA licence required

    About the Role:

    We are currently seeking a Corporate Air Travel Security Manager to support a high-profile aviation client in the Preston area. This is a senior-level operational role, ideal for a proactive leader with aviation security experience. You will oversee daily security operations across our clients Corporate Air Travel programme and associated remote sites, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and client-specific standards.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to lead frontline security operations in a critical and dynamic aviation environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day aerodrome and corporate travel security in accordance with our clients requirements and the National Aviation Security Programme (NASP).

    • Supervise and coordinate passenger and staff screening procedures.

    • Provide visible leadership and manage a team of security personnel across multiple sites.

    • Respond to and coordinate site and airfield emergencies, ensuring a swift and controlled security response.

    • Implement and oversee staff training in compliance with NASP and local policies.

    • Ensure operational performance, conduct, appearance, and awareness meet required standards.

    • Manage documentation such as assignment instructions, risk assessments, and operational procedures.

    • Ensure officers are appropriately trained and deployed to support secure flights as required.

    • Continuously enhance security team performance to meet DfT and client standards while ensuring excellent customer service.

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    • Full 5-year checkable work history.

    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters discreetly.

    • Flexible and responsive in dynamic operational environments.

    Desirable:

    • Previous aviation security experience (Current GSO/GSS/ASM qualifications highly advantageous).

    • Accredited Airport Security Manager (ASM) certification.

    • Knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance practices.

    • First Aid at Work and Customer Service Training.
