As a crucial member of our security team, you’ll be on the frontline, monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and utilizing tools like wands and metal detectors.

    🚨 Position: Dedicated Relief Officer

    • Locations: Slough and surrounding areas
    • Hours: Full-time, 30 hours per week (guaranteed contract)
    • 💰 Pay: £17.97 per hour
    • ⏰ Shift Patterns: On-call flexibility, covering days, nights, and weekends (no fixed shift patterns)
    • 🚗🚆 Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent public transport links required
    • 🔒 Requirements: 3-5 years of security experience with a valid SIA license

    Job Description

    • To provide security services at various sites across a defined geographical area as required.
    • Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements.
    • Delivering the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. (NB: the prospective Security Officer must have acquired the full SIA licence before being able to start work on operational shifts).
    • Display an outstanding level of customer service.
    • Take responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have.
    • Display the highest standard of personal presentation and smartness of uniform to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer.
    • Answer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
    • Book on at the beginning of each shift and make check calls in accordance with Company policy.
    • Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
    • Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.
    • Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills

    • SIA licence
    • Must pass mandatory screening training
    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • White glove customer service 
    • Must complete all mandatory training
    • Must be flexible 
    • 3 years experience within the security industry
    • Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history 
    • Visitor & Contractor Management
    • Computer Skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Good time keeping
