Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Carry out tasks including locks/unlocks, patrols (internal/external), alarm responses, vacant property checks, and escort services.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and helpful attitude when engaging with clients, their staff, and colleagues.
• Ensure thorough handovers at the start and end of each shift.
• Respond to adhoc requests from Mobile Dispatch, facilitating smooth communication and coordination across shifts.
• Communicate effectively with team members, reallocating tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure all personnel are correctly uniformed and equipped, and conduct detailed vehicle handovers.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly, adhering to the Highway Code and representing the company professionally.
• Follow key management protocols, assignment instructions, and escalation procedures during incidents.
• Use GRS/SMP systems to document activities with appropriate photos and details, ensuring compliance.
• Mentor new and existing staff, attend training sessions, and demonstrate commitment to Securitas Core Values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Full UK Manual driving licence
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Reliable and flexible with shift patterns 
• Honest, hard-working and trustworthy
• Able to work as both as part of a team and also independently
• Proactive and able to use own initiative 
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
• Minimum of 1 year's preferred (but not essential) experience in mobile security.
