Job Description
Purpose
To provide support to the Finance function during the Statutory Audit and Finance recurring monthly tasks. Provision of timely, accurate and purposeful management information as required by the Senior Management team, Group Reporting, the Financial Controller and FP&A Director.
Implementation and adherence to the Securitas Group Policies and Guidelines, the Securitas Reporting Manual, accounting developments in UK GAAP and IFRS and any other aspects of Corporate Governance
Responsibilities
- Support the Finance function with statutory audits, month-end, and recurring financial tasks.
- Deliver timely and accurate management information for senior leadership and group reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Securitas Group policies, UK GAAP, IFRS, and corporate governance standards.
- Manage intercompany recharges, ensuring invoices are accurate and issued on time.
- Review CIS transactions and ensure correct tax deductions and HMRC submissions.
- Maintain and post journals for Fixed Assets and Prepayments accurately and promptly.
- Assist auditors with information requests and audit preparation.
- Support the General Ledger and Controllership teams with ad hoc and recurring finance tasks.
- Ensure balance sheet and income statement accuracy, with proper coding and documentation.
- Contribute to monthly management reporting and foster collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
Any other duties as directed by the Financial Controller.
Qualifications
Minimum Required
- UK/ EU citizen or valid work permit.
- 5 year employment history
- Experience of financial transaction processing and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Working towards accounting qualification.
Additional
- Graduate / part qualified CIMA/ACCA.
- Working knowledge of Navision.
