    💰 Pay: £38,061.87 per annum
    📅 Hours: 42 hours per week

    Whether you’re managing the in-house Security Officer Maintenance of Competence Scheme, conducting learning needs analysis, or being the trusted point of contact for the site-specific training, as a Site-Based Trainer you’ll be an essential part of something bigger.     Job Description

    Responsibilities

    You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

    • Conduct training needs analysis for security operations using established models to identify key learning interventions.
    • Implement and maintain consistent learning processes aligned with Securitas’ internal L&D framework and tools.
    • Manage and uphold the Training Centre Status across the site.
    • Feed training delivery requirements and service objectives into the Training Delivery Account Programme for execution.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all site-specific training matters within Securitas.
    • Engage and secure buy-in from site management teams for development reviews and competency frameworks.
    • Support site managers in adopting a coaching approach and using competency frameworks effectively.
    • Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of training records in the Learning Hub for management information (MI).
    • Build strong relationships with the Securitas training operations team, Skills Training Lead, and Head of L&D to plan and prioritise training activities.
    • Establish and maintain trusted stakeholder relationships, acting as a credible source of training knowledge.
    • Collaborate with the Securitas account management team to align training interventions with commercial contract objectives.
    • Attend CPD events, standardisation meetings, and complete required qualifications to maintain professional development.
    • Share best practices and stay updated on L&D trends, incorporating new techniques and tools into training delivery.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement by feeding insights into courseware and support tools.

    Qualifications

    What we’re looking for:

    We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

    Essential

    • Right to work in the UK, 5 year checkable history and pass a high level of security clearance
    • Valid UK driving licence
    • SIA Licence held for at least 3 years
    • AET Leel 3 or Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) or equivalent. If PTLLS, then will also require you to have – D32/33 NVQ Assessor or Equivalent.
    • Trainer in First Aid (min EFAW, ideally FREC 3 or Advanced Intermediate Emergency
    • Experience of facilitating coaching and personal development in a multi - site commercial environment on an on -going basis.
    • Ability to build relationships and fully engage with various management teams
    • Outstanding communication skills – written & verbal.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

    Desirable

    • Qualification in Risk Assessments (IOSH, NEBOSH, HABC Level 2 (QCF)
    • Conflict Management Level 3 or equivalent qualification
    • Good understanding of H&S in general but more specially confined space
    • Good understanding of Emergency Services protocols such as Command and Control, 5 C’s, Methane and JESIP
