We are looking for an exceptional Regional Director of Security Operations (RDSO) to lead and transform security operations for one of our largest and most complex accounts. This is a high-profile senior leadership role with significant strategic influence, responsible for driving operational excellence across 30+ countries within the EMEA region.
As the Regional Director of Security Operations (RDSO), you will oversee multi-disciplinary teams delivering best-in-class security services in a 24/7 mission-critical environment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, global partners, and internal leadership to set regional strategy, enhance compliance and safety culture, and ensure consistent delivery of secure, resilient operations. This role requires a visionary leader who can balance strategic planning with operational execution, leveraging data-driven insights to improve performance and foster innovation.

Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and inspire regional security teams across multiple countries, ensuring cohesive operations and alignment with global standards.
- Drive strategic priorities for security operations within EMEA, shaping regional strategy and influencing global initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing expert guidance on security matters and operational improvements.
- Oversee manned guarding operations, ensuring compliance with SOPs, KPIs, SLAs, and contractual requirements.
- Champion operational excellence by streamlining processes, implementing best practices, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve performance.
- Produce high-quality reports and executive presentations, delivering clear updates on performance, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Guide regional projects and initiatives, fostering collaboration across global business groups and shared services.
- Utilize analytics and metrics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support crisis and incident response, ensuring readiness and effective management during critical events.
- Promote a strong safety and compliance culture, embedding values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness throughout the region.
- Represent the region at global forums, influencing policy, standards, and innovation in security operations.
- Ensure operational resilience in a 24/7 environment, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on support when required.

Qualifications
What you'll need:
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, security, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Progressive leadership in physical security, contract security, and large-scale operational environments.
- Minimum 3–5 years at director level, ideally with responsibility for regional or global operations.
Technical & Operational Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of security operations, compliance frameworks, SOPs, and risk management principles.
- Proven ability to lead multi-country operations, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to standards.
- Demonstrated success in project leadership, operational planning, and performance optimisation.
Leadership & Communication
- Exceptional capability to engage and influence senior executives, driving strategic outcomes.
- Strong track record of building partnerships and fostering collaboration across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in delivering executive-level reporting and presentations with clarity and impact.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking
- Highly data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging analytics to enhance operational performance.
- Ability to identify emerging trends, mitigate risks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Other Requirements
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment with complex demands.
- Willingness to travel extensively across EMEA and internationally as required.
- Prepared to provide leadership during critical incidents and after-hours operations.
