    📍 Location: Slough/ Reading Area.
    💰 Pay: £45K  £50K Depending on Experience.
    📅 Hours: Monday - Friday (Hybrid) Onsite Presence across multiple sites is required. Regular Travel to: Reading, Slough, Cardiff & Newport.

    Are you passionate about building strong employee relationships and driving engagement strategies?

    We’re looking for an Employee Relationship Manager to join our team and play a key role in aligning our HR and People Strategy with business objectives for one of our largest clients. As our new Employee Relationship Manager  you will be in a highly visible, on-site role where you’ll work closely with account management teams to foster a positive, productive, and inclusive workplace culture and drive engagement amongst our talented Security Teams.     Job Description

    What we’re looking for:

    We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

    • Build strong, collaborative relationships with HR Business Partners, Advisors, and Generalists to ensure alignment with HR and People Strategy.
    • Analyse and review employee survey data, providing actionable insights and facilitating site-based improvement plans.
    • Develop and deliver tailored engagement strategies for each account business unit to boost morale and productivity.
    • Champion positive union engagement, fostering constructive relationships between account management and union officials.
    • Design and deliver training sessions for account teams to promote employee engagement and best practices.
    • Create and distribute monthly employee engagement communications to keep teams informed and motivated.
    • Support manpower planning and resourcing activities to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Analyse retention statistics within business units and implement corrective measures to improve employee retention.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to account management teams, empowering them to take ownership of engagement initiatives.
    • Lead the development and implementation of new and existing HR policies, including industrial relations strategies.
    • Drive a culture of reward and recognition across account teams, ensuring achievements are celebrated.
    • Identify and track clear, measurable KPIs and objectives aligned with HR goals and business requirements.
    • Deliver training on employee engagement and succession planning to support career development.
    • Maintain open communication channels, recognise achievements, and strengthen the Securitas community.
    • Implement new working methods in partnership with the wider HR team to support continuous improvement and enhance customer experience.

    Qualifications

    What you'll bring:

     

    • Proven experience in HR or employee engagement roles. (CIPD L5 Desirable)
    • Strong communication and influencing skills.
    • Ability to analyse data and implement strategic action plans.
    • Experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
    • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent organisational skills.
    • Ability to provide a 5 year employment history and cover any gaps where appropriate.
    • Right to Work in the UK.
