We’re Hiring: Security Officer!
📍 Location: Broughton, Chester, CH4
💰 Pay: £12.69-£13.23 per hour
📅 Hours:
- Resilience - guaranteed 42 hours per week (covering days, nights and weekends)
- Monday to Friday, rotating shift pattern (one week of early shifts (5:00am – 1:30pm), followed by one week of late shifts (12:30pm – 9:00pm))

Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Protect Intellectual Property: Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Maintain Site Security: Perform daily tasks to keep the site secure and compliant with client expectations.
- Access Control: Manage access points, including staff and vehicle searches.
- Patrols & Monitoring: Conduct building patrols and monitor security alarm panels.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly and efficiently to manage risk events.
- Wing Escort Duties: Prevent traffic blockages and unauthorised access.
- Drug & Alcohol Testing: Conduct adhoc testing to ensure a safe work environment.
- Intermediate Emergency Care (IEC) - While this is typically a voluntary role, please note that if there are not enough volunteers, IEC responsibilities may be assigned as a mandatory part of the position.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
- SIA Licence: Valid Security Industry Authority licence
- Driving Licence: Full valid UK manual driving licence (site subject to road laws).
- Proactive & Detail-Oriented: Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational, customer service and communication skills
Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance
