At Securitas, we believe security is about people as much as protection. As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you’ll help create safe, welcoming environments where everyone can feel confident and supported.
Whether you’re carrying out mobile patrols, responding to alarms, managing gatehouse duties, or being a reassuring presence for our clients, you’ll play a vital role in something meaningful. No two shifts are the same, and every day offers opportunities to learn, develop, and make a real difference.
This isn’t just another job. It’s a chance to build a career where your contribution matters, your individuality is respected, and your development is encouraged at every stage.
Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play an important role in keeping people, property, and information safe. Your responsibilities will include:
Remaining vigilant, reporting incidents promptly, and helping to prevent disruption.
Delivering a range of mobile security services, including lock and unlock duties, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections, and escort services.
Completing vehicle handovers and checks at the start and end of each shift, ensuring company vehicles and equipment are secure and well maintained.
Following agreed escalation procedures for incidents, break-ins, health and safety concerns, and road traffic accidents (RTAs).
Escalating incidents, risks, breakdowns, and RTAs to the Team Leader, reporting all RTAs in line with company policy.
Maintaining a professional, respectful, and helpful approach when engaging with clients, colleagues, and members of the public.
This list gives a good overview of the role, but it’s not exhaustive. If you meet the essential criteria and feel this role could be right for you, we’d really like to hear from you.
