At Securitas Technology, we’re searching for a proactive Embedded Technical Support Engineer to provide essential BAU operational support across our customer’s global Physical Security and PS IT environments. This role ensures the smooth operation of the embedded hardware and applications that underpin their security infrastructure.
As a Embedded Technical Support Engineer, You’ll support deployed embedded systems day‑to‑day, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system stability across multiple regions. A key part of the role is acting as the technical bridge between internal engineering teams, the client’s technology and service‑delivery functions, and their nominated local system support vendors.

Job Description
- Day to day support for all Pacom applications deployed by the customer throughout their global network
- Continuous review of transactional activity by region to ensure consistency and continuity of detail being reported
- Arrange/facilitate regular local operational team review sessions
- Provide the required support to the business to support new technology refresh initiatives/projects
- Provide local site support for all Pacom application upgrade activities
- Take a lead role in the management activities for all Pacom application failures/outages
- Support the PS-IT on-call roster one week per calendar month
Qualifications
Essential
- A knowledge of operational interactive security management at a control room level would be an advantage
- A knowledge of enterprise level security management applications
- A knowledge of basic Network functionality and infrastructure
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Excellent Communications skills both oral and written
- From time to time, the role will involve working outside normal hours, including evenings or weekends.
Desirable
- Experience with integrated Security systems
- Experience working in control room environment
- Experience working with Real Time Operating Systems
- Experience with working under scrum / agile methodologies
- Previous experience with aTechnical support role
