As our Administrative Officer, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of our security team—ensuring smooth coordination, driving compliance, and supporting frontline security operations at our advanced data center site. Job Description
As Administrative Officer, you will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for data center management and security teams when the STM/SSM is unavailable.
- Coordinate closely with STM/SSM and local Securitas branches, ensuring adherence to policies and SOPs across all security personnel.
- Support operational continuity by acting as Screener, Screening Supervisor, Responder or Control Room Supervisor during staffing gaps or high‑activity periods.
- Assist with training delivery, certification activities, and maintaining all required training documentation on‑site.
- Oversee monthly computer maintenance tasks and troubleshoot technical or device issues to maintain security system functionality.
- Recommend corrective actions to STM/SSM and support delivery of staff coaching or disciplinary measures as instructed.
- Contribute to scheduling, site equipment inspections, and audit compliance across the data center and sister sites as required.
- Conduct recurring audits, maintaining and submitting accurate, confidential reports and security documentation.
- Identify security shortfalls, propose enhancement measures, and escalate potential safety concerns within the facility.
- Demonstrate alignment with Securitas Core Values—Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness—while promoting a safe, compliant, risk‑aware work environment.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
Essential
- Associate degree and a minimum of 4 years of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- Valid SIA Licence
- Experience in supervising staff or leading teams.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required (e.g. emergencies or high‑priority events).
- Right to work in the UK.
- A full 5‑year checkable employment history (or acceptable documentation for periods of unemployment, education, or self‑employment).
- Ability to consistently embody the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a data center or critical infrastructure environment.
- Understanding of SOC operations or security technology systems.
- Experience in training delivery or supporting certification programmes.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a strong attention to detail.
