🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and professional Site Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day security operations at a busy site in Portsmouth. You’ll lead the security team, ensure compliance, maintain high standards, and act as the main point of contact for all on‑shift security matters.

This role is ideal for someone organised, confident, and committed to delivering excellent service.

🛡️ Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support on‑site security staff
• Ensure valid SIA licences and training compliance
• Maintain accurate incident logs, reports, and documentation
• Assist with rotas and provide shift cover when needed
• Conduct welfare checks and performance monitoring
• Manage equipment checks (CCTV, Access Control, Radios, Alarms)
• Support investigations and produce written statements
• Promote professionalism, safety, and service excellence
• Support ongoing staff training and development
• Assist continuous improvement initiatives

📋 Person Specification

Essential

• Valid SIA Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• 5‑year checkable employment history
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Competent in MS Word, Excel & Outlook
• Organised and able to prioritise effectively
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing schedules
• Demonstrates Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness

Desirable

• Health & Safety training
• Customer Service training
• First Aid at Work certification
