This role as a Relief Mobile Patrol Officer involves delivering high‑quality mobile security services across a range of client sites within a designated area. Duties include carrying out mobile patrols, lock and unlock services, alarm response, vacant property inspections and escort duties, working to instructions provided by the Deputy Mobile Operations Manager. The role plays a key part in safeguarding clients, their staff, property and assets while providing a consistently professional service.
As a Relief Mobile Patrol Officer, you will demonstrate a polite, helpful and professional approach at all times when interacting with clients, their employees and fellow colleagues. You will be expected to follow direction from Team Leaders, wear the correct company uniform with visible SIA licence and security ID, and complete vehicle checks and handovers at the start and end of each shift. All duties must be carried out in line with Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, contributing to a safer environment for all.

Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Provides a variety of mobile security services including but not limited to locks, unlocks, patrols both external and internal, alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services etc
- Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of shift
- Ensure the correct key management process is followed when removing and replacing keys
- Ensure all assignments are always completed in line with the site's assignment instructions
- Whilst driving, the company vehicle abides by the rules of the road (highway code) and always drives with due care and attention, being courteous to other road users, and does not bring the company name or brand into disrepute

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:

- A valid SIA licence
- Remains calm under pressure
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
- Great attention to detail
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
