Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Control access to site and manage visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems to ensure site safety.
• Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the building and surrounding areas.
• Provide a highly visible security presence to deter unauthorised access, loss, theft, and damage.
• Lock and unlock designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and fire alarm activations.
• Assist employees, contractors, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Support the health, safety, and welfare of all site occupants and report hazards or concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, shift logs, and all required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all site, health & safety, and security procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We're looking for someone who sees a different world, values teamwork, takes initiative, and is committed to delivering exceptional service. Ideally, you'll have:

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
• Previous experience in a corporate security environment (preferred).
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work/history record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
• A reliable, punctual, and self-motivated approach to work.
