⏳ Hours: 60 hours per week
🕒 Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Day shift only 
💰 Rate of Pay: £14.56 per hour

• 🚗 Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle

• 🇬🇧 Must be a British national by birth or have held a British passport for a minimum of 5 years

We are looking for a Gate Officer to join our team in Brough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is proactive, fit, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment. What You'll Be Doing

🚶 Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to maintain site security.

🚪 Control access to the site, checking identification and issuing visitor passes.

🎥 Monitor CCTV and security systems, responding appropriately to any concerns.

🚨 Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.

📋 Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security records.

✅ Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.

🔦 Carry out routine security equipment and site checks.

🤝 Provide excellent customer service to employees, contractors and visitors.

🛡️ Help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment across the site.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

🪪 Valid SIA Licence.

🚗 Full UK Driving Licence.

🔐 Ability to obtain and maintain SC Clearance.

💪 Physically fit and comfortable with significant walking throughout your shift.

🗣️ Strong communication and customer service skills.

🔍 Excellent attention to detail.

🚨 Ability to remain calm and act professionally under pressure.

⏰ Reliable, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards.

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance

As a Gate Officer in Brough, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the sites, staff, visitors, and assets. You will conduct regular patrols, manage access control, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents promptly. A key part of the role will involve walking, so being physically fit is essential.
