💰 Pay: £13.45 per hour
📅 Hours: 48 hours per week: 4 on 4 off working nights & days: 6am - 6pm

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting our client's employees, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service. Working in line with site assignment instructions and customer requirements, you will act as a professional and visible presence on site, demonstrating the core values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness at all times🛡️
As a Security Officer, your key responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, fire and intruder alarm systems, conducting regular internal and external patrols, controlling site access, and preventing unauthorised entry. You will also assist with traffic and parking management, carry out routine security equipment checks, manage keys and locking procedures, and ensure all site security processes are followed to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
- Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
- Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A valid SIA licence
- Flexibility to work days, nights & weekends
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
- Ability to stand of long periods of time
- Ability to multi task
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
