Samantha Golding crowned Best Newcomer at British Security Awards

16 July 2018

Securitas is thrilled to announce Samantha Golding, Service Delivery Manager for Yorkshire, was crowned Best Newcomer at the BSIA’s British Security Awards. The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) celebrated the outstanding work of the security industry, on the national stage, in London on 11 July.

Earlier this year, Samantha won regional Best Newcomer in the BSIA’s Security Personnel Awards - progressing to the national stage. She is now the proud winner of both regional and national Best Newcomer.

Starting as a relief officer in 2017, Samantha’s integrity and commitment has seen her promoted from officer to Service Delivery Manager in a short space of time. Sam has been awarded for her professionalism and going the extra mile for customers and officers. Sam has been described as “an asset to Securitas and a credit to the team - and given the security industry is a new sector for her - her contribution as a newcomer has been inspirational.”

James Kelly, Chief Executive, BSIA commented: “Often the work of our industry is under the radar when it comes to recognising the contributions of the various services that are involved in dealing with the security incidents we read about locally and nationally, and I hope that today’s celebration of these exemplary individuals on the national stage goes some way to remedying this.

“We look forward to the British Security Awards becoming the national event that recognises the true talent, commitment and achievements of the industry’s finest.”
