Women in Security finalists announced

Securitas is delighted to announce Kim Fardon, Duty Shift Manager in London, is a finalist in the Women in Security Awards. Organised by Professional Security Magazine, the awards recognise and honour the accomplishments, value and contributions of women within the wider world of security.

Kim is one of three finalists in the category of Manager. The category recognises women in management roles, within a security department or business, who demonstrate outstanding leadership. The awards also recognise women in three other categories; Technical, Frontline and Contribution to Industry.

The judging panel for this year’s awards is made up of leading security organisations: the Association of Security Consultants, ASIS UK Chapter, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), the Fire and Security Association (FSA), the International Professional Security Association (IPSA), the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), the Security Industry Authority (SIA),  the Security Institute, the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB), and the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals.
