    Job Description

    We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an experienced Front of House, Brand Ambassador, Manager to join our STARS team. Working for one of our high-profile clients in Prestwick, KA9 2RX.

    STARS at Securitas provide a “two roles in one" service to our clients, their staff, visitors and customers.

    We combine excellent customer service across a wide range of roles including Reception Services, Front of House, Concierge, Facilities, Office Management/Coordination, Administration and third party vendor management and much more all combined with a discreet and vigilant security service.

    The STARS Manager will be responsible for managing all Securitas personnel, in addition to day to day operational front of house and administration requirements on site. The STARS Manager will be the central point of contact for front of house service delivery, development and performance. This position is fundamental to the operational success of STARS in becoming an industry leading bespoke front of house security service.

    • Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for the delivery of a consistently high-end, accurate and discreet Security focused hosting experience to all visitors, guests and employees at the designated site.
    • To ensure the safety and protection of client’s people, property and information at all times, in a knowledgeable and service-oriented manner, ensuring an unobtrusive and comfortable environment.
    • Training and developing staff to provide the department with an appropriately skilled and motivated workforce, and ensuring all staff have a valid SIA license or LDN prior to commencing licensable duties.
    • Managing rotas to ensure adequate cover at all sites at all times to ensure the provision of a consistent service. Accurate rostering and forward planning of all direct reporting employees, ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness and absences.
    • Ensuring that the team function to the professional and consistent standards expected so as to provide a high level of client focus to meet the business needs.
    • Project manage and facilitate the strategic implementation of new working practices to ensure the successful roll out of initiatives, resulting in consistency to our clients and improving the overall service offering.
    • Responsible for the maintenance of the visitor electronic pass system and the maintenance of the client facing areas e.g. fault reporting.
    • Being fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring an effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained.
    • Actively encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards.
    • Keeping Assignment Instructions and site documentation up to date.
    • Ensure all incidents are reported in compliance with client and company policy and procedures.
    • Assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing of “best practice” and use of systems and tools to improve service effectiveness.
    • Planning, developing and implementing staff training, including both routine duties and emergency procedures.
    • Regularly liaising with Client relationship managers (and when necessary, clients directly) to ensure the provision of a client focused service.
    • To manage the completion of all site-specific administration tasks with a high level of attention to detail and in a timely and professional manner.
    • Any other duties as are reasonably requested by management or the client.

    Essential Skills

    • Previous supervisory or management experience in Customer Service roles

    • Working knowledge of administrative computer packages such as MS Office, GSuite, etc.

    • Experienced in Customer Service, Front of House, Concierge, Hosting or Customer facing role ideally within a corporate environment
