    • 🚨 Position: Screening Officer 
    • 🕒 Hours: Working an average of 30 hours a week
    • 💰 Pay: £17.97 per hour 
    • ⏰ Shift Patterns: Monday-Tuesday week 1 & Wednesday - Friday week 2
    • 🚗🚆Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links
    • 🔒 Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in Security with a valid SIA license.

    Job Description

    • Read and apply Screening SOP.
    • Require data centre personnel to utilize metal detection and/or wand for entrance to and exit of
    • secure areas.
    • Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoint(s).
    • Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when
    • security breaches occur.
    • Perform hand held wand searches.
    • Perform walk through metal detection searches.
    • Required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and
    • procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Employees are required to
    • notify superiors upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions.
    • All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and
    • to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of
    • uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to
    • request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorised company representatives.

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills

    • SIA licence
    • Must pass mandatory screening training
    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • All mandatory training must be completed. (This includes screening training, which is required upon commencement of the role. Failure to successfully complete this may lead to the withdrawal of your contract offer).
    • 3 years experience within the security industry
    • Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history 
    • Visitor & Contractor Management
    • Good English skills (verbal and writing)
    • Great customer service skills (white glove attitude)
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Good time keeping 
    • Reliable and great team player
