We are looking for a π¨Security supervisor π¨to support our expanding Days team.
π Location: Barrow-in-Furness, UK
π° Salary: Competitive pay between Β£17.90 per hour
β³ Hours: Working Monday to Friday, average 49.5 hours per week
π΄ No SIA Licence? No problem! We provide full SIA training to help you obtain your licence and grow within the security industry.

Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
-Manage a Team: Oversee daily operations of 40+ staff members.
βTraining: Ensure all personnel complete necessary site training.
βScheduling: Accurately roster and plan for all reporting officers.
βCustomer Relations: Build strong rapport with clients, visitors, and contractors.
βPersonnel Management: Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of security staff.
βRecognition: Encourage staff recognition and award nominations.
βDocumentation: Keep assignment instructions and site documents up to date.
βIncident Reporting: Report all incidents per customer and company policies.
βBest Practices: Assist in developing and sharing best practices to improve service.
βTraining Implementation: Plan and implement staff training for routine and emergency procedures.
βEquipment Monitoring: Report faults with security equipment.
βOperational Functions: Be fully conversant with Access Control, CCTV, Detection, and Alarm Systems.
βSupport: Assist the Service Delivery Manager with reasonable requests.

Qualifications
Essential Skills:
β Clear Employment History: 5-year checkable history and ability to obtain National Security Clearance.
β Right to Work: Must meet strict UK right to work criteria.
β SIA License: Current SIA License or willingness to complete necessary training through the company (6 days)
β Experience: Managing or assisting in managing a team within the corporate security sector
β Driving License: Full and clean driving license.
β Communication Skills: Good communication skills, able to articulate with authority.
β Professionalism: Ability to remain calm and maintain high professionalism.
β Vigilance: Alert and cautious, with an inquisitive mindset.
β Technical Knowledge: Proficient in access control software and Microsoft Office, with strong general IT skills.
β Proactive Approach: Proactive in all activities.
β Organisational Skills: Strong organisation and planning skills.
β Rostering: Experience with varying shift patterns.
β Leadership: Leading 1-2-1s.
β Presentation: Extremely well presented.
β Driving License: Full and clean driving license.
