    You will be working with one of the largest global organisations by coordinating and fulfilling operational duties across the client account, working closely and supporting the Security Management team.  Ensuring constant adherence to standards, policies and procedures and delivery of an efficient and effective security provision.  This position has direct management, financial and operational responsibility for all countries under their remit.

    Job Description

    General Role & Responsibilities                           

    Managing and overseeing sites leaders, supervising country operations, and ensuring efficient operation on a day-to-day basis. Improving productivity and streamlining country activities to maximise results and achieve peak performance levels. The Regional Account Manager will ensure appropriate operational service delivery by fully and satisfactorily completing duties which include, but are not limited to:

    Managing and Leading

    • Serves as a key point of contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for the client account, evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary communication and/or corrective action in a timely manner.
    • Directly accountable in respect of the attainment of Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements and the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Monitoring performance at all levels and scheduling training as required.
    • Implementing an effective brand strategy and ensuring consistency.
    • Management involvement of the recruitment and selection process.
    • Deploy best practices across scope and functionally, drive continuous improvement activities within scope by specific training in close alignment with the Securitas Account Management Team.

    Operational Excellence

    • Ensure that all case, financial and administrative records and files are maintained to a high standard.
    • Ensure that services are planned, delivered and evaluated in response to the client and company needs.
    • Duties also include guiding management staff in your respective countries, setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimising operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld, and preparing operations and financial reports.
    • Dealing with escalated client issues, incident reports and legal actions.
    • Identify and initiate improvement opportunities; recognise (potential) issues, propose and critically evaluate solutions and effectively resolve the matter / implement the solution.
    • Analyses operational and financial indicators to continuously improve account  performance; ensures profitable operations with full profit and loss accountability.
    • Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both Securitas and client, promoting a positive image of our client and Securitas at all times.

    Communication

    • Maintain effective communication with the line managers (Team Leads, Security Supervisors, and Campus Managers etc.) to ensure employees provide the highest level of customer service and care, maintain and promote a safe and secure environment and act in accordance with the client requirements and Securitas policies and procedures.
    • The Regional Account Manager reports directly to the Securitas Regional Account Director with a dotted line to the Area Security Manager.
    • This position is customer facing and daily contact with the client is a big part of the role therefore effective communication is essential.

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • Valid UK driving license.
    • Legal right to work in the UK.
    • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment 5-year history screening process, including drug screen and background checks.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Business Management, Accounting or equivalent education or significant years of work experience.
    • Experience within the security industry.
    • Understanding of employment legislation relating to the provision of Security staff across the region, and their potential moves between providers.
    • Experience of dealing with information and intelligence, interpreting security threats and risks and management of investigations.
    • Experience managing service providers and vendors.
    • Results-oriented with strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with global teams.

    • Excellent organisational skills and extremely high attention to detail.
    • Strong general IT ability.

    • Capable of working under pressure and able to maintain a professional demeanour and approach with internal and external customers.
    • Ability to receive direct or indirect instruction in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form, and act upon such instruction to accomplish a given task or project. In the event of unclear instruction, must have the ability to ask for clarification without prompting.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Report writing ability.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented workplace where judgment and professionalism are essential.
    • Ability to create and revise documentation with a variety of stakeholders.
    • Demonstrates ability to adapt and quickly learn unfamiliar areas of business.
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
    • Ability to be an effective team member and handle projects responsibly.
    • Strong customer service skills and results-oriented approach to business.
