Job Description
Job Title: Aviation Part-Time Security Officer
Hours: 20 hours per week (overtime available)
Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour
Location: Warton (PR4)
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (must be flexible)
Shift Times: Anytime Between 6:00am – 6:30pm (including split shifts)

About the Role
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Aviation Security Officer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide and maintain a high-quality security service in line with Assignment Instructions and customer requirements, ensuring the safety of employees, passengers, property, and other assets.
This is a customer-focused position where you will be expected to consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct passenger and staff screening on-site
Operate as an Aviation Pre-Screener, X-Ray Scanner Operator, Person Searcher, Tray/Bag Searcher, and Temporary Critical Part Security
Carry out aircraft searches and documentation checks
Maintain a visible and effective departmental security presence
Complete training in line with UK NASP and local regulations
Respond to airfield/site emergencies as per departmental procedures
Adhere to DfT and airport regulations while ensuring the highest level of customer care
Complete incident reporting and documentation as required
Support the Aviation Security Manager CAT with other duties as directed

Qualifications
Person Specification
Essential:
A full 5-year checkable work history
Competent in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with discretion in handling sensitive information
Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings and evenings
Willingness to work additional overtime when required
Desirable:
Accredited GSO/DNXT Aviation Security Officer qualification
