What is included in the fire alarm system maintenance cost?
Our fire alarm system maintenance package includes the inspection and testing of your fire alarm equipment. Pre-planned alarm maintenance visits will be carried out by a qualified Securitas engineer twice per year to meet the standards of BS 5839. Some of the checks undertaken by our engineers include:
- Fire panel maintenance, inspection and testing
- Smoke alarm maintenance, inspection and testing
- Maintenance, inspection and testing of internal and external sounders
- Inspection and testing of signalling devices required for fire alarm monitoring
- Inspection and testing of power supplies and batteries
- Inspection and testing of other auxiliary devices
