Nicola began her Securitas career in customer services, a position which worked well with her other important job as a busy mum of two.

Nicolas was promoted a year later and now manages a team which monitors alarm activations, CCTV and cash in transit alerts, for clients across the UK.

Nicola says “Working and leading a team in the Securitas Operations Centre is interesting and challenging, especially when we have to respond quickly to an emergency call. My team picks up incoming alerts 24/7 so it’s an exciting environment to work in.”

“At Securitas, I have a managerial role as well as the flexibility to juggle family commitments - returning to work after having my family wasn't a problem. There are so many varied opportunities so I would urge anyone to consider security as a career option.”
