Securitas Supports City of London International Women’s Day

Securitas will host a table at the City of London International Women’s Day event on 9th March, in support of the globally celebrated day.

The breakfast networking event is an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of women in business and discuss the wider theme of women in the changing world of work.
 
Journalist and ITV newsreader Julie Etchingham will chair a panel of distinguished speakers including, Her Honour Judge Anuja Ravindra Dhir QC and Commissioner London Fire Brigade, Dany Cotton QFSM.
 
Sue Seaby is the Regional Head of Projects at Securitas in the UK and a well-known figure in the security industry. With over 30 years’ experience at both regional and executive levels of management, Sue has worked in a range of industries including Aviation, Finance, Maritime, Telecommunication and Insurance. A member of the Women’s Security Society, Sue was a founding member of the City of London event.
 
Sue comments: “Securitas is proud to have women in front line and management positions, across all functions, including Operations, Bid Management, Intelligence Analysis, Communications and Human Resources.
 
“Diversity isn’t just about women, but we want to play our part on this globally recognised day, to shine a spotlight on women in business and the unique contribution they bring to the workplace. This event has grown in size and stature, since it first launched in 2007, and I look forward to attending with my colleagues.”
 
All proceeds raised from the event will go to Refuge – the UK charity that provides specialist support to women and children experiencing domestic violence.
